About this eBook

2XS, THE HALLUCINOGENIC CHIP OF CHOICE…

To Excess—that's how they say it on the streets…before it destroyed their minds.

Private detective Dirk Montgomery thinks he knows those streets. He's watched the change with the world, as the powers of magic grow and alter the balances of power. He thinks he understands even the deepest shadows and the darkest of hearts. He is wrong.

I could not continue reading what with how incredibly dense and ever-present the chauvinism is. Findley can hardly write three paragraphs without tossing in a mention of how long a woman's legs are while exiting a car, or how shapely her curves are while… existing. It's difficult to read while squirming.

I will not lie the other rating about her description of female character is right but idk I ended up it was somehow funny always. Anyway so far it really captures most the life of a SINless in the shadowrun universe. Super action packed off the rip amazing description of the tech, matrix, vivid characters. Favourite I've read so far. Rip Nigel.

Nigel Findley was an excellent author who often wrote in the hard boiled detective style, of which Dirk is most definitely the leading man who looks upon the world with a view those born after 2000 will not understand. This book is especially brilliant as he attempts to save his sister from worse than BTL chips.
