Since becoming Australia’s first MasterChef, Central Coast mum-of-three Julie Goodwin has become a household name. Formerly an IT professional running a successful family business, she now writes a monthly column for the Australian Women's Weekly, is a bestselling cookbook author and appears weekly on The Today Show on Channel Nine.

Her first cookbook, Our Family Table, is one of the highest selling cookbooks in Australian history. Her second cookbook, Heart of the Home was published in 2011. Her third book, Gather, will be released in March 2013.
