A second chance romance, or should I say many chances. Seth, legal aid can not remain faithful to long time girlfriend, Julianne. Julianne, is a music therapist is tired of being hurt and has entered the on line dating scene. While Seth is home recuperating, their romance rekindles but Julianne needs changes from Seth. This is a quick read that I thoroughly enjoyed. Great character development and dialogue. Love the reoccurring characters from previous stories. This is a part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone.

He regretted their breakup and he was at fault, wanting to try again, but it was a no go with her. What would it take to win her again, he was willing to do. Learning to trust one another, and being true to one self, was a big step for him. Being part of the Casella family with marriages and babies coming. . In this second book of the Casella cousins we get Seth Casella’s story. Seth is a legal aid attorney recovering from a stabbing . A man who is dedicated to aiding those in need and whom his family can’t understand why he and his on and off again girlfriend are once again off. Julianne Ford is a music therapy teacher and literally the girl next door. She and Seth have been friends since childhood and each others “love of their lives”. But Seth has hurt Julianne one too many times. In the midst of the struggles of these two, there is also a mystery on who is responsible for actions against Julianne. As always, the author gives us an engaging story with characters that have imperfections. This story is no exception. The subject matter will not be one everyone will be willing to overlook. I am definitely one that would not have given Seth a chance and truly wanted to give him a piece of my mind. But each individual reacts differently. In this case trust and forgiveness need to go hand in hand. Can Julianne trust and forgive Seth? Will Seth truly change his ways? Once again, another thought provoking story written by this talented author. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
