Secret Lovers

This is book seventeen in The House of Morgan Series and it is Lorenzo and Destiny's story and omg it is a must read. Lorenzo was going to Cancun on business but when he was asked to check in on Destiny while he was there the only answer that he could given was yes as he had wanted her since the first time that they met. Destiny was in Cancun on a honeymoon for one after her fiance cheating on her so she decided to get away from everything and take a holiday. Lorenzo and Destiny had such strong chemistry between them right from the start so they ended up having a night together in Cancun and now things have got even more complicated between them because Destiny has found out that she is pregnant with Lorenzo's baby and it has completely turned her life up side down. Will Destiny and Lorenzo be able to work all there differences between them out and come to a compromise that works for both of them or will things get even more complicated between them especially as Destiny's ex is trying to get her back and then throw in Jennifer and you have even more of a mess. Victoria Pinder is an amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will definitely not be disappointed as she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and on the edge of their seats while reading her books. I always look forward to another chapter in the ongoing saga of the Morgan family, and Secret Lover did not disappoint. This book features Lorenzo (of the Italian branch of Morgans) and Destiny, a woman whose life was upended when she caught her soon-to-be groom in the arms of another woman. She flees to Cancun to nurse her broken heart and Lorenzo is sent by her friends to ensure her safety. While in Cancun, Destiny and Lorenzo hook up with far-reaching consequences. This novel is well-written and the characters keep the story moving at a nice clip. There are some open door bedroom scenes, but the author handles them tastefully without being too explicit (certain body parts are mentioned). I would not classify this as a stand-alone story and I highly recommend the series be read in order. Without the necessary background, the number of characters interacting with each other, as well as the ongoing interference of "Jennifer", a reader will not understand the intrigue.
