Scales of Resistance

When Tez and Meri pick up a Resistance operative from the planet Lestiya, they don’t expect it to be Tez’s ex, Bede. Nor do they expect Bede to drag them, and the rest of their crew, into hijacking a supply ship on behalf of the Resistance on Lestiya. As the heist gets steadily more complicated, Tez has to wrestle with both old feelings for Bede, and new doubts about what she’s doing with her life.

Just how responsible is it to drag a young child, and her partner Meri (oh yeah, a dragon, by the way), back into her old life?
