Ian Whybrow is a much loved writer with a wonderful talent for capturing children's humour and imagination. He has written several successful picture books for Macmillan, including the bestselling The Bedtime Bear, The Tickle Book and The Christmas Bear, illustrated by Axel Scheffler. Ian is also the creator of the much-loved Harry and the Dinosaurs series.

Ed Eaves's use of colour and appealing animal characters make his work wonderfully child-friendly. As well as his collaborations with Ian Whybrow on Say Hello to the Snowy Animals, and Say Goodnight to the Sleepy Animals, he is also the illustrator of wonderful novelty books including Science Museum: Touch-and-Feel Cars and Science Museum: Touch-and-Feel Planes.
