Although cheaper than buying the 3 individual volumes, this compendium has significantly more lossy image compression, making the art much harder to appreciate and enjoy because of how grainy and fuzzy the lines are. A lot of finer details are lost here and sometimes background text is impossible to make out. Also, 56 pages are missing from the 388-page compendium compared to the 3 individual volumes (148 pages each = 444 pages). It's better to buy the individual volumes than this compendium if you care more about higher quality and more content than lower price.
