The 8th edition of Shubhapallaba has been released on the 27th of October in 2019 on the occasion of Diwali or Kali Puja. This edition was planned to publish on Kumara Purnima but later extended the date to Diwali. Inside this issue of Shubhapallaba, there are a total of 85 stories, poems, travel blogs, essays including the editorial based on Water pollution through Plastic and Polyethenes. And the theme of this edition was also based on the plastic and Polyethenes pollution, so the cover of this issue has designed like that. A number of new writers contributed through this edition. Even some writers' 1st article has been published through this edition. Sambeet Das had designed the cover photo and Sangram Keshari Senapati and Tapas Ranjan had edited all the articles.

About the author
Sangram Keshari Senapati is an Indian writer and entrepreneur from Bhadrak, Odisha. He is the founder of Shubhapallaba Odia magazine and Gapu Photography club. Apart from that, Sangram is a volunteer in the Wikimedia project and became the 1st Odia and the 3rd Indian as well the 3rd participant in the world to complete the 1000wikidays challenge.
