About the author

Prof. Sabu Thomas is a Professor of Polymer Science and Engineering and the Director of the School of Energy Materials at Mahatma Gandhi University, India. Additionally, he is the Chairman of the Trivandrum Engineering Science & Technology Research Park (TrEST Research Park) in Thiruvananthapuram, India. He is the founder director of the International and Inter-university Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Mahatma Gandhi University and the former Vice-Chancellor of the same institution. Prof. Thomas is internationally recognized for his contributions to polymer science and engineering, with his research interests encompassing polymer nanocomposites, elastomers, polymer blends, interpenetrating polymer networks, polymer membranes, green composites, nanocomposites, nanomedicine, and green nanotechnology. His groundbreaking inventions in polymer nanocomposites, polymer blends, green bionanotechnology, and nano-biomedical sciences have significantly advanced the development of new materials for the automotive, space, housing, and biomedical fields. Dr. Thomas has been conferred with Honoris Causa (DSc) by the University of South Brittany, France.

Dr. Ajitha A. Ramachandran specializes in polymer blends, nanocomposites, and hybrid nanomaterials. Her research includes EMI shielding studies of thermoplastic/ polyester/ CNT blend nanocomposites, focusing on the development of advanced materials with tailored properties for specific applications.

Prof. Maciej Jaroszewski is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering Fundamentals at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST), Deputy Head of the Department, and Head of the High Voltage Laboratory. He was previously Assistant Professor at the Institute of Electrical Engineering Fundamentals (WUST), from 1997.In 2019, Prof. Jaroszewski obtained an additional scientific degree, a “PhD of technical sciences with habilitation (DSc). He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of the Polish Committee for Standardization (PKN), and has been member or chairman of numerous program committees and scientific conferences in Poland and elsewhere. Prof. Jaroszewski is the author of over 100 scientific publications, the editor of 5 book monographs, and a reviewer of several scientific journals.
