This is another great addition to this wonderful series about the McKinnon family whose patriarch has gone missing and whose four sons all military men have returned home to help in the search for him. We have already had Angus, Duncan and Colin's story and now we get Bastian's (Sebastian) Can you see the thread in the names someone likes the alphabet. Bastian is a Navy SEAL and after losing his one true love in a car accident when he was only eighteen he has sworn that he will never marry anyway the life of a Seal doesn't blend very well with marriage it would have to be a special kind of woman to survive her husband been missing most of the time. He and his brothers are searching for their father unwilling to assume that he is dead after all he is ex military and as tough as they come. Then they get a new lead Jenna Meyers a local real estate agent as discovered what looks to be a torture site in a cabin she was checking out could it be where their father was held. Jenna has history with the McKinnon familt she is Molly's best friend and always had a crush on Bastian but he never looked at her that way he only had eyes for Laura When her ex husband almost beat her to a pulp it was the McKinnon women that cared for her during her recovery. When her discovery puts her in danger it is Bastian who will step up to make sure she is safe, and in the process he will start to look at her in a whole new way as he finally found a woman strong enough to be the wife of a Navy SEAL. Now can't wait for the next book in this wonderful series will Molly end up with Parker or is that just a red herring on Elle's part.

Seal's Vow, Book 4 in the Iron Horse Legacy Series hit the spot for me. It's a combination of action, mystery, suspense, and of course, unrequited love:) Two people find their paths crossing once again. Jenna, an abused divorcée turned real estate agent and part time sleuth and Bastian, the hunky Navy Seal on personal leave. These two see sparks start to ignite when Jenna's real estate dealings lead her to find grisly clues to Bastian's missing dad's possible whereabouts. Confusing, yes and no. While you can follow the plot and characters, it does help to have read the previous books in the series (not a big hardship ), seeing as the author just continues on from her previous storyline. Full disclosure-there were 1-2 scenes where I felt that the heroine was TSTL (too stupid to live) but overall she was worthy to be Bastian's love interest. Good job by Elle James! The story thread in this book does get resolved and there is a personal HEA -but the overall plot remains unsolved. Poor dad remains kidnapped:( Stay tuned for the next installment in the Iron Horse Legacy-it's bound to be a wild ride! I received an ARC to review.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it. This was a fantastic addition to this series. It can be read as a stand-alone as the author does a wonderful job of telling the sub-plot of the series. The patriarch of the McKinnon family (James) has been kidnapped. The series is following his children as they search for him but also find their soul mates. In this story, Sebastian (Bastian) McKinnon is on leave from the Navy SEALs. It has been eleven years since he lost the love of his life Lauren. She died from injuries sustained in a car accident. Bastian blames himself as he was the driver and also wearing a seat belt but she wasn't. He made a promise to Lauren to never love another. Bastian though comes across Jenna Meyers and things soon start to heat up between them. Jenna is his younger sister's best friend but she is nothing like that young girl. The suspense and intrigue of this story just kept me on pins and needles. We get a few more clues on James McKinnon's whereabouts but the mystery continues!!! I was glued to my poor e-reader. Reading as fast as I could to see if the mystery was solved. At the same time, the sparks were flying between Bastian and Jenna making for a great love story. I adored having this book written in the dual POV format. Getting a glimpse into the characters' thoughts really help me to connect and understand them and their actions so much better. I also loved seeing the prior characters and having them actively involved in the search for their father was wonderful. There was a sexy scene in this book that while was really brief on details just may offend some readers. Because of this, I can only recommend this book to someone over the age of 18.
