Acerca del autor

Charlie Gardner was born 1949 and raised in the small village of Spencers Wood lying south of Reading. Schooled locally, at both primary and secondary level, he joined Lloyds Bank Limited in 1966 and retired after nearly forty years at age fifty six. Whether Charlie can write or not depends on whether people will read and enjoy his novels. Plots are taken from both real life and his imagination. His first novel Gods Earth was based on his father’s life and his own experience in the bank. His second novel Rotten Timbers was a view of life in general and his third novel as yet untitled is again from a real life experience. He is most critical of Gods Earth in respect of grammar and how much more could have been written. Aspiring authors please note, the writing is only half of it!! Charlie still lives in the village he grew up in. He enjoys travel, reading, formula 1 and Liverpool FC, even when they’re not winning.
