Romans has been described as the theological epistle par excellence. Professor of Christian Scriptures at George W. Truett Theological Seminary, Baylor University, USA. His books include The Intention of Matthew 23, Reading Matthew: A Literary and Theological Commentary on the First Gospel, Mark (NIVAC), Colossians / Philemon (NIVAC), 2 Corinthians (NAC), 'Gospel of Mark' in the Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary, 1 Corinthians (BECNT) and Luke (ZECNT). He has published more than fifty articles, and his books have been translated into Spanish, Korean, Russian and Portuguese.
