this is RIDICULOUS. How can you sit there and defend what Sharon did? Why don't you ask if the people's lives she ruined will defend her? So what if there is lies in the book? No one know the whole story, not even you. Even though, you were there... you were just a little kid who couldn't have comprehended what was happening. The insanity of the situation is this: Whatever the reason simple or not she should not be defended. Murder is murder, and she deserves to be in jail for what she did. However, if she has accepted and grown with the knowledge that what she did is wrong that's wonderful. The sentencing she recieved was far better than what could have been given, most people would say "an eye, for an eye"; the jury said no she should live with the consequences for her actions.
I don't want you to think that I am some random person saying these thoughts, I am not. In fact to be blatenly honest, I am her neice. Do to the fact that I am her family as well, I can honestly say... I love her and care for her, but a crime is a crime and she should stay were she is safe for herself and for those around her. As I age, I notice the whole family is messed up and we all have our faults. We can all learn from this situation and know what NOT to do when "God" calls.
