The study highlights the synthesis of silver nanoparticles from these flavonoids, showcasing remarkable properties, including sub-100nm particle size and significant antimicrobial effectiveness against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. The book also explores the angiogenic activity of these extracts, demonstrating their ability to promote blood vessel formation in CAM models. With evidence of early wound contraction and comprehensive histopathology studies, these nanogels emerge as powerful agents for wound healing, offering a potent, herbal-based solution for enhanced healing and recovery.

Dr Kumud Bala is a Professor at the Amity Institute of Biotechnology and Deputy Dean of Student Welfare at Amity University, Noida, both in India. With a PhD from Patna University, India, she specializes in Cancer Immunology, Pharmacology, Plant Phytochemistry, and more. Dr Bala has 27 years of teaching and research experience, publishing over 50 high-impact papers and securing numerous government-funded projects. She has guided many PhD students, filed 21 patents, and received awards including the SAS Best Faculty Award (2020) and the Best Academician Award (2021).

Dr Yash Sharma is an Assistant Professor in Biotechnology at the Institute of Integrated Learning in Management University, Greater Noida, India. With 7 years of academic and research experience, he has focused on drug discovery and pre-clinical studies. Dr Sharma has published over 25 research articles, filed a patent, and received the Young Achiever Award. He is a member of the Royal Society of Biology and has significant experience in nanoparticle formulation for wound healing.
