Future Internet and Internet of Things set out a new vision for connectivity, real-time applications, and services. Data procured from the use of a large number of heterogeneous physical and virtual devices must be real-time processed and analyzed for the goal of effective resource management and control while maintaining the required performance and quality of service. In addition, the development of the communication networks toward heterogeneous and new generation broadband connectivity brings up new requirements toward the way of managing and controling the available resources. Ramjee Prasad is with CTIF Global Capsule, Department of Business Development and Technology, also Aarhus University, Herning Denmark. Dr. Ramjee Prasad, Fellow IEEE, IET, IETE, and WWRF, is a professor of Future Technologies for Business Ecosystem Innovation (FT4BI) in the Department of Business Development and Technology, Aarhus University, Herning, Denmark. He has published more than 50 books, 1000 plus journal articles, and conference publications. He has more than 15 patents and has taught over 250 Master's students and 140 Ph.D. Graduates. Several of his students are today worldwide telecommunication leaders themselves.
