Alpha's Revenge: A Special Forces Shifter Romance (Romantic Suspense Wolf Shifter)

Renee Rose and Lee Savino’s Alpha’s Revenge is the latest in their Special Forces Shifters series and we get Rafe and Adele’s story. Boy, these two are like oil and water at times; others, they’re a raging inferno. The sass, and I’ll say it, and the passive aggressiveness emanating off Adele was an absolute delight when balanced against Rafe’s frustration—yes, I loved it when Adele would poke at him. The suspense is there, if you’ve been following this series, then you’ll already know about the different bad guys and the blaze of glory THAT is (spoilers!). And as with their other books, you can rest assured that Ms. Rose and Ms. Savino are bringing us delightful characters in precarious circumstances who are fighting the obvious (love!) in sometimes hilarious ways. Other times, there might be a bit of a swoon going on. This Shifter Ops series will bring you large, growly alphas; sassy strong women; and not so clean fun. Recommended.

ALPHA’S REVENGE (Shifter Ops, #3) is another amazing book from Renee Rose and Lee Savino. Rafe is the alpha of his pack and has no desire to take a mate. Adele doesn't really trust men any longer after her business partner stole all their assets and she was forced to close her Chocolatier shop. She reluctantly excepts a job offer from Rafe to be the private chef at his compound. Rafe tries to stay away from her but fate has other ideas. They but heads at every chance they get, since they both are alpha's in their own rights. The chemistry that all Renee and Lee introduce us to in their books is always right on and enjoyable to read. I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.

Rafe and Adele are the most stubborn characters in the Shifter Ops Crew but I absolutely loved their push pull dynamics. Both characters are strong alpha’s in their own rights - strong, dominant and in control, so when fate matches them as mates it’s just explosive. It begins with Rafe being frustratingly narrow minded that he can’t take Adele as a mate but it only builds the angst so that when they do get together it is combustible. It’s fast paced with lots of action. Can’t wait for the next book!
