zoey ellis NEVER fails me with her books!!! when we first met Malloron in books 1-3, i seriously did not know how zoey was going to redeem this character in my eyes! but boy, like i said, she never fails me lol. we continue to learn more about him and his past, and see what made him the way his is. i'm so loving this series! it also doesn't hurt that the steaminess factor is so hot and addictive! :)

I love omegaverse stories, and this author did not disappoint me. I wondered if this couple's story was going to be similar to Drocco and Cailyn's story. I eventually get bored with a series when an author does that. But she absolutely does not. This couple's story is new, fresh. I loved the dynamic created between them. This author creates strong, dominate alphas who just don't get it yet and omegas who also don't get it. I love it!!

I adore Zoey Ellis! I can’t get enough of these characters and this world. Normally I turn off sometimes when authors go into detail about background elements because quite frankly, I just want to get to the good stuff between the couple (heh), but I LOVE all the discussion about the tenebris and how magic is a source of power and betrayal in the Western Lands. And of course I love Malloron and Amara’s relationship and its development: it lost none of its heat, and in fact there was more because of Malloron’s acceptance of who Amara is to him. And Kardos... can’t wair to hear his story! I KNOW he has a connection to Drocco. And we learn more about Malloron and why he has evolved into the ruthless alpha king and as a result you feel so much more for him and root even more for him to finally see the light! I don’t want to spoil it but this is a must (scorching emotional rollercoaster) read!!! (I received an advanced reader copy to review.)
