Emilie Morwenna Whitaker is Lecturer in Social Policy at the University of Salford, UK, and an Honorary Lecturer at Cardiff University School of Social Sciences, UK.
Paul Atkinson is Distinguished Research Professor (Emeritus) in Sociology at Cardiff University, UK. He has written or co-authored over 20 books.
