About the author

Ravi Verma is an Indian writer and software engineer whose journey into the world of words has been as diverse as his upbringing. Born on December 15, 2000, Ravi grew up in an Indian-Tibetan community, moving across different Indian regions, mostly hill stations as his father taught at various branches of the Central School for Tibetans. This unique exposure to different cultures, landscapes, and perspectives has instilled in Ravi a profound appreciation for people, nature, and life itself.

Inspired by his father’s own love for writing, Ravi began crafting essays in school, winning competitions and building a reputation for his thoughtful insights. His passion for writing grew during his college years studying engineering, where he began publishing poetry on Blogspot, later gaining encouragement from family and friends to pursue self-publishing. In 2017, he published his first book, Death: An Indelible Truth, followed by The Fanzy and the Ron Case—both of which served as learning experiences in the self-publishing world.

Since then, Ravi’s writing has evolved, focusing on poetry that resonates with themes of nature, self-love, healing, and human psychology. His first poetry collection, BREEZE, launched the “Embrace” series in 2018, followed by Sprouts and Aqua in the same series. Amour-Propre and Finding Me, two mini-books from the Unconditional series were published later around 2021 as a move towards themed collections, which dive into the topic of personal growth and self-acceptance. With a love for words as boundless as his curiosity, Ravi continues to write, driven by a vision to publish more theme-based works that speak to the core of the human experience.
