The best of the series so far. It has a beginning, a middle and an end and even ties up some loose ends and presents a backstory. A far cry from the chaotic mess of earlier issues. The artwork is as before - sharp colors, pin-up characters plenty of cheesecake but it's the story that separates this book from the others. The endless running from one peril to another is replaced with constructive narrative and meaning behind the gory action. If there were more books like this in the series, it could have become a favorite of mine. It is campy fun with a cheesecake mentality with plenty of action. But the writing was always too lightweight and repetitive. Finally we have an issue that corrects that problem.
