This book will make you cancel appointments, late for work, not answer phones or doorbell, delay "nookie", bring it into restrooms, burn food, barely hear someone call your name, and cause insomnia because you can't put the book down from being afraid of missing what comes next. I love this book.

About an attorney set up by the mafia. she almost loses her right to practice law. She has many difficulties with people while trying to achieve a practice of her own. Eventually she thrives. There's love, loss, trials & error. I have read it 20xs it gets better everytime. There's a movie based on it which was made a long ago its hard to find but if you eventually find it & watch it after u read the book u can put faces on the characters, the places featured, which makes it ever better. I recommend this 💯%

It wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. Dumb Jennifer! I was cheering for her, then I couldn't believe she'd sleep with the enemy. Good ending.
