Holly Larson has decided to leave everything behind. After a recent breakup with her fiancé Chad, she’s determined to have a fresh beginning in a new place. She’s headed to Boston, but a layover in Iowa causes her to be stranded. Tyler Burns is headed to a work meeting in Texas, but a delayed flight causes him to spend more time at the Des Moines airport than he planned.
He ends up by Holly in the airport restaurant and overhears her telling the waiter that she is supposed to be in Boston but is stranded and not sure what she’s going to do. Tyler ends up offering her his place since he’s going to be gone awhile and she takes him up on it. Soon she’s putting off her plans to go to Boston more and more while she’s falling for the Midwestern life. Tyler becomes smitten with Holly and is ready to throw in his work life to settle down, but Holly still heads to Boston.

This book had a good storyline but needed to be edited better. There were repetitive inconsistencies throughout the entire book. One example is Tyler asking about Holly's parents twice. On the girls, night out the names were mixed up and there were many, many typos.

This is a good read. I really am a fan of this author. But, this book ... I am going to say all this in jest :😂🤣 It confused me, it had me asking questions and wondering what, where, how. It was my thought that perhaps the author was either tired or drunk while writing this book. That thought and not the book had me laughing out loud with tears running down. I loved the book. 😍
