The most complete book about ASP.NET MVC out there. The issue that really confused me was the fact that he uses an application that is already outdated, it is good to explain the theory but if you wanna get it running you must download the MVC 3 tools. Even then the intellisense is completely messed up with visual studio 2013 and 2015. Recommendation: Author should not rely on this to cover the theory as it causes uncertainty when trying to make proof on concept over that application. Also if it's within the expertise of the author a comparison of good practices between Microsoft vs third party would be appreciated. For example a recommendation for validation like data annotations vs external javascript framework for client validation.
