'Best known for his top-selling instructional book/DVD, "The Complete Modern Drum Set", and Grammy -nominated solo album "China Ranch". Frank Briggs has also enjoyed recording and/or touring with such diverse acts as, platinum R&B artists Atlantic Starr, Zappa alumnus Mike Keneally, Windham Hill keyboard whiz Kit Walker, Megadeth lead guitarist Chris Poland & Ohm, Michael Jackson/Jeff Beck guitar shredder Jennifer Batten, RCA recording artist 805 and even multi-platinum singing personality Engelbert Humperdinck. Frank has recorded for such labels as Universal, EMI/Sony, Reprise, RCA, Tone Center, Immune, Higher Octave, MTM Germany and has endorsements with Yamaha drums, Istanbul Agop cymbals, Regal Tip sticks and Attack drumheads. As a leader and music director Frank has lent his composition and performance skills to Fortune 500 companies American Express, Toyota, Forest Labs, GameStop, Disney, SAP, AstraZeneka, Amway and Eli Lilly - just to name a few. A native of Central New York, Frank eventually settled in southern California where he remains busy as an educator, session/touring drummer and drum set clinician. His educational books and videos have been used worldwide by professional drummers and music schools and he has traveled extensively giving master classes on drum set vocabulary and performance.
