About the author

Dr. Prakash Pareek earned his Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Dhanbad, India, in 2017. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Vishnu Institute of Technology, Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, India. His research interests include optical communications, Group IV optoelectronic devices, plasmonics and integrated optics, and THz photonics.

Dr. Naveen Mishra is a Senior Assistant Professor in the School of Electronics Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology, VIT University, Vellore. He joined the VIT University in May 2019. He joined the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad, in January 2014, as a Junior Research Fellow, where he worked as a Senior Research Fellow from January 2016 to May 2019. His current research interests include metamaterial structures and their applications.

Dr. Indrasen Singh is an Assistant Professor in the School of Electronics Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. He earned his B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India, in 2006 and 2010, respectively. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, Haryana, India, in 2019. His research interests include cooperative communication, stochastic geometry, modeling of wireless networks, heterogeneous networks, millimeter‐wave communications, device‐to‐device communication, and 5G/6G communication.

Dr. Abhinav Gautam is a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow in the Photonic Systems Group at Tyndall National Institute, Cork, Ireland. He earned his Ph.D. degree. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) in 2022, where he also earned his master’s degree in 2016. He received his bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Technical University in 2013. His research interests encompass fiber optic sensing, optical communication, photonic systems, and microwave photonics.

Dr. Jitendra K. Mishra earned his Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad, India, in 2016. Currently, he is with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. His research interests include optical fiber communication, optical wireless communication, optical quantum communication, and the application of machine learning in information and communication technology.
