Genolia is a former preschool teacher, and she has served as a substitute teacher for various elementary grade levels. She began writing poetry at the age of twelve, and one of her poems was published in a children’s magazine. She has worked as a feature writer for a local college newspaper and has written plays for children to perform. She is a published author of two other books, and this is her first children’s book. Thomas Barnet has work published not only in the children’s book field but also apps, magazines, and various printed book genres. He is notably recognized for his use of vibrant engaging colors that entertain children. He is an inductee into the National Cartoonists Society, a lifelong dream.
