*Peach with Extra Cream* Brodie Watson is almost like a prodigal son who has returned, at least in the eyes of Donna, Aubrey Lantrey's grandmother who seems to derive pleasure from belittling her granddaughter. 😡 Never mind that it's not under his preferred circumstances, & it's not as glamorous as Donna thinks. That aside, I love how his protective nature kicks in. It's funny & the things fantasies are made from. Let us not forget Clint Marsh. This chemistry teacher has found the right chemicals that mix with him to create an awesome new product. I love that he's just him. Being a single dad to Dee makes him all the more appealing as he puts her first always. Watching him respect the fact that Dee will sometimes need others to talk to had my heart bursting w positive feelings. Things develop very organically between this trio. Lessons are learned. Past hurts are soothed. It's a book worthy of my time! 💚
