Phil Duncan has a passion - and the credentials - for teaching the harmonica, as his scores of instruction materials attest. He also loves the gospel of Jesus. So, it’s no wonder that he would want to write a book like this one, designed to help those who want to learn hymns, gospel songs, and old spirituals and learn to play them proficiently and with excellence. Played well, these songs can help the player and the listener to actually “hear” and enter into the joy, hope, and love of God that the gospel proclaims. That’s what good gospel music and good gospel harmonica are all about. So, get your harp handy and learn what Phil has to offer here….and get ready to make a joyful noise!
