About this ebook

The fate of the Commonwealth hangs in the balance as Chief Investigator Paula Myo hunts for the mastermind behind an intergalactic war in this stunning sequel to Pandora's Star.

Over centuries, humanity has been manipulated into a devastating conflict that threatens to destroy civilisation itself. As multiple worlds fall to the enemy and the true nature of the threat remains elusive, Paula Myo is tasked with uncovering the identity of the creature orchestrating this catastrophic war.

Meanwhile, Admiral Kime leads the Commonwealth's defence, wielding an arsenal of super-weapons against an equally formidable foe. But the question remains: has the top-secret defence project been compromised, or is the reality even more terrifying than imagined?

Judas Unchained is a sweeping space opera that concludes Peter F. Hamilton's epic Commonwealth Saga with a bang. This gripping tale of alien invasion, interstellar intrigue, and cutting-edge technology is a must-read for fans of science fiction at its most ambitious and immersive.

The Commonwealth Saga begins with Pandora's Star.

Lots of good ideas but massively padded out towards the end. Which was a shame as I enjoyed the first book. Only sort of finished due to time already committed to reading.

Hamilton writes a decent story and has an accessible, visual style. For me though, his writing is marred by his championing of rampant right wing politics, patriarchal ( and patronising) industrialists and grating stereotypical characterisations of working class people. I'm afraid he's off limits for me.

This was the first big science-fiction story I've read, and what a great choice it was. Have previously read short stories from Peter.F.Hamilton, this was very different. I was sucked in to the universe very quickly. So many great characters, locations and stories. Look forward to starting another book from the author.
