About this ebook

It's never safe to go back in the water. Celebrating its fiftieth anniversary with 20 million copies sold, Peter Benchley's Jaws is the gripping pulp thriller that inspired Steven Spielberg's classic, blockbuster film adaptation.

It was just another day in the life of a small Atlantic resort until the terror from the deep came to prey on unwary holidaymakers. The first sign of trouble, a warning of what was to come, took the form of a young woman's body – or what was left of it – washed up on the long, white stretch of beach.

A summer of terror has begun . . .

'Pick up Jaws before midnight, read the first five pages, and I guarantee you'll be putting it down breathless and stunned, as dawn is breaking the next day.' - Daily Express

If you are reading this book because it is about a shark. Then do not read it! This book is mainly about sex, and swearing. This book uses strong language such as f#ck or sh#t or b#tch. This book is exciting though, the death scenes are cool and violent. A must read book.

Thankfully the screenplay knew what to remove to create a great film. Central chapters drift from the story, I thought I was reading 50 shades of great white!

Jumbled, cluttered and painfully indecipherable at times with an ending that was quite dull. I'm glad i read it but would not be rushing to read it again, however, i would happily watch the film right now!
