About this ebook

All she wants is forgiveness, and all he wants is revenge . . .

From the New York Times Bestselling Author Penny Reid

One week.

Private cabin.

Famous physicist.

Still an unrepentant slacker.

What’s the worst that could happen?

Mona’s meticulously planned allotment of relaxation is thrown into chaos by the unscheduled appearance of her older brother’s band of friends, including the one person she'd hoped to never face again. Abram still makes her feel entirely too much, which is one of the reasons she disappeared after their one week together. But now, trapped on a mountain of snow and things unspoken, Mona will have to find a way to coexist with Abram, chaos and all.

I have been waiting for this book since I finished Motion. We find out what happened at the end of the last one is the start of this one. Then we move two and a half years ahead. When Mona and her friend from college Allyn go to Aspen for some RR, what she doesn’t expect her brother Leo to be there with a large group of friends All you Penny Reid fans this is a must read as Abram and Mona meet up with a lot misunderstanding and anger Abram's directs towards Mona for tricking and making a fool of him. This episode gives us a better insight in Mona’s background and though processes. Well after reading Penny Reid at her best, has left me salivating for the third book. This one finishes on a cliffhanger, but we are getting there Time is on its way.

This is the second book in the trilogy. I was anticipating this one so much. I really like Mona, She's such a genius and a little awkward when it comes to social situations. I like to see her relationship with her sister is getting better, but reading how strained things are with Abram hurt to read. I really liked that we got dual points of view in this book. I liked we got inside Abram's head so for me it helped to know where he was coming from. Even though Abram's struggling with his feelings with Mona he still looks out for her. that's what he most redeeming qualities for me. Don't get me wrong I understand he has his reasons for being mad, but he's changed man from the first book. Through out this one we gradually see the true Abram coming back. This book does leave off on a cliff hanger for these two, but I can't tell you how much I'm anticipating the conclusion to their story.

It’s been two years since Mona has seen Abram and for their first meeting to be at her parent’s cabin while he is there with her brother Leo and a group of his friends is more than she can bear. All she wanted was some down time and to have him so close but yet so far brings up all the feelings that she has buried since she saw him last. After the way that the week he spent with Mona ended he feels betrayed and isn’t about to let her forget it. He wants to cause her pain but at the same time the love he feels for her is stronger than ever and balancing the two is becoming harder. Their plans to stay away from each other go up in smoke as they are drawn to each other like magnets. Abram’s musical career has taken off, in large part because Mona is the reason for his creativity, while Mona is focused on her career as a physicist. They will never have more than this time together and when it ends will the heartbreak be worth it? The connection and chemistry between these two is unlike anything you have ever seen. They are complete opposites, but they see each other as they truly are and love each other more because of it. Their story isn’t finished yet and I can’t wait for more of Abram and Mona!
