Patty Michaels is a children’s book writer and editor who lives in the New York City area. She loves the beach, coffee, her family, and playing with her dogs.
Ceej Rowland has been a practicing illustrator for the past ten years and has been drawing in general for much longer than that. Taking inspiration from people and their surroundings, he gets a real kick out of capturing the little details that make a piece of work stand out, learning new processes, and challenging his comfort zone whenever he gets the chance. Growing up, he surrounded himself with comics, pictorial reference books, and illustrated literature, so being able to use his creativity to make a living is a childhood dream come true. Today, Ceej resides in Dorset, on the south coast of England. When he’s not hunched over the desk in his studio, or happily sketching in the quiet corner of a coffee shop, he spends time with his family and friends—heading to the beach, exploring the surrounding countryside, or returning to the city for a culture top-up.
