About this ebook

Encourage safe yet exciting Halloween fun for your child in this colorful, rhyming tale
Halloween is a frightfully fantastic time of year for people of all ages but is especially fun as a child! Through simple verse and bright illustrations, P.K. Hallinan awakens the excitement that children feel on Halloween, from describing the fun and colorful costumes of friends to trick-or-treating treats to the delightfully scary house decorations.
Hallinan not only brings the Halloween spirit to life for children, but also inspires safe and appropriate Halloween behavior, including advice on choosing bags with extra-strong handles and always saying “thank you.” Hallinan gently encourages children to sift through their candy with a parent before indulging—and he subtly suggests waiting to munch until the next day.
Parents can depend on P.K. Hallinan to provide not only fun stories, but also teaching tools for their children. Prepare your child for an exciting, yet safe, Halloween evening in Today is Halloween!
