One of the main areas of study in pharmaceutical science is physical pharmaceutics, which connects the discovery and formulation of drugs with the theoretical underpinnings of chemistry and physics. One cannot emphasize the significance of this field of study enough, as it offers the fundamental knowledge needed to create and produce pharmaceuticals that are both safe and effective for human consumption. The purpose of this book, Physical Pharmaceutics-I, is to provide a thorough overview of the ideas behind physical pharmaceutics. It attempts to give practitioners, researchers, and students a firm foundation in the physical and chemical processes that underlie the actions and functions of pharmaceuticals. This volume covers the fundamental ideas of physical pharmaceutics, such as the dynamics of drug delivery systems, the stability, solubility, and dissolution of drugs, and the characteristics of active ingredients. The organization of each chapter has been carefully considered in order to integrate theoretical knowledge with real-world applications and convey complicated ideas in an understandable way. Both inexperienced students and seasoned experts will find this book's information to be beneficial. In addition to offering education, our goal is to provide a resource that stimulates more investigation and study in the subject by fusing basic ideas with real-world examples and case studies. Mrs. Varsha Sharma works as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Accurate College of Pharmacy, Knowledge Park-iii, Greater Noida, U.P, India. She has one year of experience teaching B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy. She has a qualified M.Pharmacy in the Pharmaceutics branch from Translam Institute of Pharmaceutical & Research, Mawana Road, Meerut, AKTU, and a B. Pharmacy from Kalka Institute of Research & Advanced Studies, Partapur Bypass, Meerut, AKTU, India. She has one Design Patent.

Ms. Mahefuzabibi Mohamed Desai. is an Assistant Professor at Shree Dhanvantary Pharmacy College, located near the railway station in Kim (East), Surat, Gujarat. She brings over three years of experience in the field of pharmaceutical education, where she has made significant contributions to the teaching and mentoring of students. Ms. Mahefuza holds a Master's degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) with a specialization in Pharmaceutics from Shree Dhanvantary Pharmacy College, affiliated with Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. She also completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) at the same institution. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. at Bhagwan Mahavir University, Surat. Throughout her academic career, Ms. Mahefuza has guided numerous B. Pharm students in their research projects. Her dedication to innovation is evidenced by her successful acquisition of four design patents in the pharmaceutical field. Ms. Mahefuza resides in Surat, Gujarat, and is actively involved in the academic and professional development of her students. She is committed to advancing the field of pharmaceutical sciences through both teaching and research.

Dr. Adeep Kujur, currently working as Assistant Professor at University Institute of Pharmacy, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. He has a rich experience of 12 years in teaching of D. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy. He has completed his Ph.D. from University Institute of Pharmacy, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. He has qualified M. Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics branch from, SLT Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur and B. Pharmacy, also from SLT Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India. He has guided many students of M. Pharmacy and B. Pharmacy at research level. He has more than 20 publications in national and international journals of repute. He has two Indian Patent grants, four Indian design Patents, one UK design patent and two book chapters.

Nagineni Sudarshan Rao Currently Working as an Associate Professor in Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy, Vishnupur, Bhimavaram, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh,India. He had 11 Years of Academic Experience. He had Published 15 Research articles and Review articles in various International and National Journals. He had 02 UK design Patent and 04 Indian Published Patents. He had Participated in 50 Workshops/International/National Conferences/Webinars. He had Participated in 15 Faculty Development Programs. He had authorized 03 books and 01 Book Chapter. He guided numerous M.Pharm and B.Pharm Students. Pursuing PhD at Vels University, Chennai. He completed his M.Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics from Max institute of Pharmaceutical Science Khammam affiliated to Kakatiya University,Telangana. B.Pharmacy from Maharaji College of Pharmacy, Chennai affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR medical University, Chennai. As a result of these academic Achievements and experience it is expected that the book will fill the need of the Pharmacy Students.

Mr. Abhishek, currently working as an Associate professor in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kritika Pharmacy College, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. He has a rich experience 6 years in teaching of B. Pharmacy, D.Pharmacy, and M.Pharmacy. He has a qualified M.Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics branch from, RBMI, Bareilly, affiliated to A.K.T.University, and B. Pharmacy from RIT, affiliated to A.K.T.University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India He has guided many students of M. Pharmacy and B. Pharmacy at research level.
