Petals is a collection of poems that tap into the thoughts, feelings and emotions of the Author-ALKA SHARMA. Each piece aims to go beyond just words and reveal an emotion; love, pain or happiness of life. The author uses 'pile of poems' as a sub title to emphasise that it is universally relatable as readers should find at least one (or more) piece(s) that reminds them of a previous experience that they have had/ emotion that they have felt, that is unwound in this book.

Each piece aims to fuel the realisation of sentiments that fabricate our very being.

Alka sharma is a passionate and motivational writer. Born in barabanki , raised in Lucknow . She is creative girl having a passion to create an expression of emotions on paper effectively. she has written in many books as a coauthor , compiled many anthologies which are Amor propio , boon or bane : my pen , unappreciated heroes: our father , honouring motherhood through our eyes . passionate in writing poetry and motivational thoughts. She uses her positive influence to spread good vibes , positivity among people . She feels her words can really heal a person and she loves motivating people through her words what she actually experienced in her life , that's how she help people through her words to overcome from their problems.
