in chapter 2, we finally see who gave Misaki his necklace. It turns out to be his older tutor, who is gay and wants Misaki allfor himself, but as he can't have him, has taught him that its wrong to like anybody of your own sex and Misaki can't live without him in his life, something Shouta plans to change
