Adam Roberts is the Professor of 19th century literature at Royal Holloway. He won the John W. Campbell and the BSFA awards for Best Novel for Jack Glass. He has produced one of the most acclaimed and varied bodies of work in modern SF. He is also the author of several academic works on both SF and 19th century poetry.
