About this ebook

Prince Henry is in desperate need of a weak witch. He thinks he’s found one in the excessively nervous, mousy Birdie.

He is mistaken.

Birdie is one of the most powerful witches in the land. She’s on the run from Mr. Talisman, a man relentlessly hunting her for her power.

When the roguish Henry indentures Birdie with an ancient magical practice, binding her to his side, the fool has no idea what he’s getting into. Now he will be pulled into a tale far darker than his own by a witch who could run circles around him.

They will have to fight through dangerous plots, dark magic, and foul creatures. There will be only one way to survive – together. And soon the cad of a prince will realize there’s no other way he’d have it.

Mr. Talisman follows an arrogant print and a rare witch as they’re thrust into a battle for the throne. If you love your historical fantasy with magic, heart, wit, and a smattering of romance, grab Mr. Talisman today and soar free with an Odette C. Bell series.

Mr. Talisman is the sixth Trapped by Your Side series. In this world, witches can be indentured by strong wizards - if the wizards are stupid enough to try. Witty, fun, and fast, they'll appeal to fans of light historical fantasy and cozy mysteries.

This is so bad. If an editor glanced at this book, the author should demand a refund. The story is intriguing (I think?) but I'm having a really hard time getting through the flagrant misuse of the English language and basic grammar/punctuation. If you care at all about basic sophomore highschool level sentence structure, this book is not for you. I read a lot of trash, but I literally cannot get through this.

sorry but there is only one way to describe this and it is boring. I suffered to cheep ending throught endles repetition of "it was ower" it actualy is a very short story but owerbloated with repetitive description how out of league main heroes are, how they are finished and how it is ower for them only to agsin and again survive against everything. each painfuly long deacription of odds that keep piling and mounting and adding is so long that it will become boring after a while because its simply too much and repeats on every single step. Mysterious enemies with mysterious and never fully rewealed or explained powers and origin. But instead of creating interesting story behind each bad guy, there is only endless amount of frustration

This is an ok book but Odette's usual style, maybe this was why I struggled to understand it. The story is a bit slow in the beginning and I struggled here and there but overall I enjoyed it. Henry and Birdie really are a nice couple who had all odds stacked against them but managed to conquer them
