Mathematics Teaching and Learning Strategies in PISA uses data from the PISA 2003 assessment to examine the relationships between teaching strategies, student learning strategies and mathematics achievement. The report aims to identify instructional practices and learning strategies that contribute to increased achievement in mathematics and general knowledge. It then explains how these strategies may be related to different countries’ school system structures.
This report offers policy insights and stimulates new research to complement and further develop the recent OECD Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) and the upcoming PISA 2012 assessment, which will again focus on mathematics. In addition, this report may be of interest to teachers, educators and officials within national and local educational authorities responsible for the professional development of teachers or for programme development, as well as members of school boards and parent advisory bodies.

i have learned too much good things about PISA exam . i am very happy that i have chose this book for reading.In this book mathematical knowledge is too good. As i am from punjab so i am not too good in english so its very helpful to me for learning english .This book is such a treasure of knowledgeabout PISA exam as i am a navodayan so after two days our PISA examination will conducted so this book is very helpful for that.but i cannot understand that how i will submit my answer sheet after completing my test. so if anybody want to help me so i will be very thankful for that.the knwledge and confidence i get from this book ti face PISA examination, i am very thankful for that. in this book the things points about the PISA examination and easy language to read , learn and understanding thats too good. this book is such a plenty of knowledge about PISA examination. and i am very thanful to tje book author. I am also very thankful to the publicatios .at last i am thankful fo all books
