Kim Mitzo Thompson, President of Twin Sisters® Digital MediaTM, is a song writer, record producer, and author of thousands of educational and inspirational products for children spanning over 36 years. Kim graduated from The University of Akron with a Master of Science degree in “Integrating the Arts in the Elementary School Curriculum” in 1986. Her teaching degree has enabled her to write, produce, and create educational and inspirational products for children worldwide. Her love of music and teaching is what continues to inspire her to create hundreds of exceptional educational products each year including songs, eBooks, audiobooks, and teacher resources. Kim's newest venture author and host of the award-winning Storytime Anytime® podcast brings stories and music to life while teaching children important educational concepts. Airing on the Evergreen Podcast Network or wherever podcasts are available, Storytime Anytime® was recently selected to receive a Silver Davey Award. The Davey Awards is an international award focused exclusively on honoring outstanding creative work from the best small shops from across the world. Kim has been a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Recording Academy and a voting member since 1992. She believes in Academy's mission of fostering artistic and technical excellence, preserving historically significant musical works, and reaching young minds through the GRAMMY® Foundation. Kim is a proud mom of Austin, Morgan, and Bailey who enjoys yoga, writing children's books, and cooking. She loves to spend time with her husband, Scott, and enjoys hanging out with her two dogs.
Karen Mitzo Hilderbrand, CEO, of Twin Sisters® Digital MediaTM, is a song writer, record producer, and author of thousands of educational and inspirational products for children spanning over 36 years. Karen graduated from Purdue University with an Industrial Engineering degree in 1987. Her experience as an industrial engineer brings logistics, project management, technical, and financial management skills to the organization. Her ability to recognize industry trends and remain adaptable has helped the company succeed for more than thirty-six years. Karen was selected and honored as a recipient of the SMART 50 Business Owners 2017 award for Innovation. Her involvement as learning chair, social chair, and mentor in the Cleveland Entrepreneurs' Organization, has helped Twin Sisters® Digital Media experience continued growth and success. Karen has been a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Recording Academy and a voting member since 1992. She believes in The Academy's mission of fostering artistic and technical excellence, preserving historically significant musical works, and reaching young minds through the GRAMMY® Foundation. Karen is the proud mother of Tyler and enjoys scuba diving, singing, playing the piano, cooking, and volunteering.
