When I first heard that Edward, Mr. Kidnappy Crazy-Pants, was getting his own book, I was fairly gobsmacked. From page one I was set against him, by chapter 2 I was certain he couldn't redeem himself. But that was as long as I held out. Edward started, against my best sense, to win me and his heroine over. I was incredibly pleased with this book and how Miss Lucas handled both the story, heroine, and the villain turned hero. A bigger fuss over the attempted kidnapping would've been nice, though.
