This one didn't connect. Throughout the read, I kept saying "why are you putting up with this nonsense? You're too good for this abuse." Yes, I understand zero self esteem and I can appreciate the fine line between pain and pleasure, but what's going on here is aberent. I do enjoy a little kink with my principals but total self abasement is just plain sick. Sorry, won't be doing any more of this series. The technical details here are excellent, writing style, mastery of the basics, etc are exemplary, character development is good, and crises and resolutions result in growth-- of a sort. No recommendation.
