About the author

Ngoc Tai Huynh is a lecturer at School of Foreign Languages, Tra Vinh University, Vietnam. His research interests include multimodal semiotics, applied linguistics, English and cultural education. He has published various articles in IGI Global, Multilingual Matters, Springer Nature, Social Semiotics, and the Australian Journal of Teacher Education.

Vinh To is Senior Lecturer of English Education at the University of Tasmania, Australia. Her research interests include educational linguistics, English and literacy education, and Asian literature. She has published 30 peer-reviewed papers and one co-edited book titled Systemic Functional Linguistics Theory and Application in Global Contexts.

Angela Thomas is a senior lecturer in English education at the University of Tasmania. Her research interests include children’s literature, multimodal discourse analysis and the fusion of literature and new media. She has co-edited English Teaching and New Literacies Pedagogy (2014) and Teaching and Learning Primary English (2022).
