About this eBook

DEATH AND WAFFLES: A Short Story by Lish Bride, author of HOLD ME CLOSER, NECROMANCER

Matt's childhood friend, Ashley, has been stopping by a lot lately. That might seem pretty normal, but Ashley died years ago and now she's Death.

And tonight she wants waffles and fries.

INCLUDES AN EXCERPT OF HOLD ME CLOSER, NECROMANCER...

Sam leads a pretty normal life. He may not have the most exciting job in the world, but he's doing all right—until a fast food prank brings him to the attention of Douglas, a creepy guy with an intense violent streak.

Turns out Douglas is a necromancer who raises the dead for cash and sees potential in Sam. Then Sam discovers he's a necromancer too, but with strangely latent powers. And his worst nightmare wants to join forces . . . or else.

With only a week to figure things out, Sam needs all the help he can get. Luckily he lives in Seattle, which has nearly as many paranormal types as it does coffee places. But even with newfound friends, will Sam be able to save his skin?

These are snippets of books or short stories yet as soon as they FINALLY begin to peek my interest, each segment abruptly ends. No warning whatsoever! 2 of them were decent. The rest lacked everything I look forward to seeing in a story.

We browse the "reader review" sections to get an actual review of a book. All I see is people bitching about Google's corporate policy. Folks--if you ever end up purchasing an app, movie or book, Google needs and account. It's the same way with Amazon. If you acquire a "free" item, Google isn't going to debit your card. It sounds like some of you have never transacted with these companies before. This is the way it's done--you need to have an account. If you're not clear on this, please contact customer support and leave these sections for actual book reviews.

the short story :death and waffles at the end of the novella was great. I love banshees, psycopomps, omens and harbingers in any tale. It really touched me. who wouldn't find joy in a visit from their long lost childhood friend. Also, this book is a very easy read it's a great pickup for in between work for classes.
