About the author

Nan Whybark has been professionally involved with teaching children to read, write and create art for over 20 years. She loves to do those things herself. Nan has created several books for kindergarteners, written scores of plays and poems for kids. Several of her short stories and illustrations have been published in an e-magazine. Naturally, she also wrote Book 1 of the Earth to Irth Series, “The Weasel and the Wizard”. Born in Seattle, her current home is a small town in Washington state as she truly loves the Pacific Northwest. She has five children, eighteen grandchildren, and many wonderfully supportive extended-family members. Her husband, Harold, has been at her side for nearly 40 years. Nan has always loved animals and cared for many, but has never gained her heart’s desire of raising a dragon...yet.
