Erastus Sabdono was born in 1959 in Surakarta, Central Java, in a Christian family. At the age of 17, he yielded his life to serve God full-time. Erastus pursued his undergraduate studies at the Indonesian Bethel Theological Seminary (STTBI, formerly ITKI) Jakarta, received his Master of Theology degree at Jakarta Theological Seminary (STT Jakarta), pursued his doctoral studies and received his Doctor of Theology degree from Indonesian Baptist Theological Seminary (STBI) Semarang. Erastus founded and became the lead pastor of Rehobot Ministry congregations in Jakarta. In late 2018, he became the President of the Voice of the Gospel Truth Church (GSKI), and in January 2019, he was appointed Chancellor of Jakarta Ecumenical Theological Seminary (STT Ekumene). Erastus is known as a speaker in seminars and “revival meetings, preacher on TV and Radio programs, innovative author, lecturer, theologian and Bible teacher.
