This book was one hot mess from beginning to end! I am a huge fan of dark romance, so brutal tends to be OK for me. But no consent is ra**, ordered to do it shows no bal*s, the writing was all over the place, and there was nothing redeeming about this book. I've never read anything else by Morgan Jane Mitchell and am uncertain whether I will again. I love the Royal Bastards MC series, but the Nashville, TN Chapter may be a lost cause to me. I've read several books written by Morgan Jane Michell; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is part of the Royal Bastards MC: Nashville, TN Chapter Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Eve & Hallow. This is the first story I have read by the author, it is one of my favorite tropes and part of the RBMC. It is set on all Hollow's Eve, there is a party at the bar Eve works at. It is said their is a surprise for the patrons. When people starting dying, it is not clear if they are really or if is a ruse. It was an interesting read, not sure based on what happened with the story if I would the Prez of this chapter. This may be too dark for some, but is a MC story so it is expected. I cannot wait to read more of the author's stories. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
