Ryder and Violet had their moments but to many side players. End felt rushed to me.Violets character was irratating,too wishy washy and Ryders character never lived up to his supposed badboy reputation. Hated that Pilar never got called out for her part in all of it.

Intense hot love affair with one of the 3 sisters of Fleur and mysterious Ryder ends with hae. An ongoing plot in the background should continue in book 2. I cannot wait to read it. but I'm not sure why since this book was only okay. Read again April 2021.

I enjoyed it. The white hot sex scenes and intriguing storyline, so many directions that went nowhere. But I couldn't put it down.
