This collection brings together studies of isotropic and anisotropic scatterers and waveguides, hydroacoustic antennas for echo sounders, frequency, pulse and transitional characteristics of loudspeakers, and oil residues in railway tanks. It also investigates numerical solutions of sound scattering problems by bodies of non-analytical forms using the boundary element method.

作者简介

Alexander Kleshchev graduated from the V. I. Lenin Electrotechnical Institute, Russia, in 1960 and went on to work at the A. N. Krylov Central Research Institute, Russia. Since 1965, he has been working at the St. Petersburg Marine Technical University (formerly the Shipbuilding Institute), where he received the title of Professor in 2012. He is the author of 190 publications, including 16 books, such as Hydroacoustic Scatterers (1992, 2012); Diffraction and Propagation of Waves on Elastic Media and Bodies (2002); Diffraction, Radiation, and Propagation of Elastic Waves (2006, 2017); Diffraction, Radiation and Propagation of Elastic Waves in Isotropic and Anisotropic Bodies (2019); Elastic Wave Dynamics Problems (2021); The Dynamics of Elastic Structures (2021); and Isotropic and Anisotropic Scatterers and Waveguides (2022).
