In this issue we will continue four lines of ministry. The first line--The History of the Lord's Recovery--contains chapters 13 through 16 of The Exercise and Practice of the God-ordained Way, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1989. These chapters cover the matters of nourishing the new ones that they may remain, dealing with various cases in preaching the gospel, having home meetings for remaining fruit, and reaching people with the gospel. The second line--Words for New Believers--contains chapters 9 and 10 of The Four Crucial Elements of the Bible--Christ, the Spirit, Life, and the Church, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1984, and chapters 1 and 2 of Basic Lessons on Service, which are in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1979. These chapters cover the matters of the church, how to meet, and the Lord's table meeting. The third line--Maturing in Life--contains chapters 7 through 10 of Practical Lessons on the Experience of Life, which are in volume 4 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1964. These chapters cover the law of life, the anointing, dealing with the heart, and dealing with the conscience. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--contains chapters 8 through 11 of Crystallization-study of Song of Songs, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. These chapters cover the believers' living in ascension and their becoming a garden to Christ, the sanctuary of God, and the heavenly bodies.

लेखक के बारे में

Born in 1905 in northern China, Witness Lee was raised in a Christian family and educated in English-speaking schools. At the age of 19 he believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and consecrated himself to preach the gospel. Early in his service, Witness Lee met Watchman Nee and began to labor together with him. In 1949 Witness Lee was sent by Watchman Nee to Taiwan to ensure that the things delivered to them by the Lord would be preserved. In 1962 Witness Lee came to the United States and began to minister here. He ministered in weekly conferences, delivering several thousand spoken messages until 1997. He gave his last public conference in February 1997 at the age of 91. His major work, Life-Study of the Bible, comprises over 25,000 pages of commentary on every book of the Bible from the perspective of the believers' enjoyment and experience of God's divine life in Christ through the Spirit.
